What we’re about

Join us to learn and practice AI, GenAI, LLMs, Machine learning, Deep learning and Data Science technology together with like-minded developers.

Our goal is to congregate with AI enthusiasts from all over Dublin to learn and practice AI tech, through tech talks, workshops, code labs, hackathons, tech conferences, etc.. we regularly invite tech leads from innovated companies, successful startups to share latest in AI, practical experiences and best practices. We also invite speakers from all of the world to speak in-person or online and learn AI together with developers from all over the world

If you’d like to speak at future meetups, co-promote your meetup or inquire about partnership opportunities, please feel free to reach out to us.

Thank you

Kevin

Google AI bootcamp (Dublin) - Accelerate AI with Google Cloud

Google AI bootcamp (Dublin) - Accelerate AI with Google Cloud

Google Ireland Ltd, 4 Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D, IE

Important: Register on the event website is required for admission.(RSVP is turned off on meetup)

Description:
Join Google Cloud Labs for an immersive, hands on workshop learning how to build and scale production-grade AI agents with Cloud Run and GPU support.

This is a hands-on program designed to take your AI applications from prototype to full-scale production. In the world of AI development, a great idea is just the beginning. The real challenge lies in transforming that initial spark into a secure, scalable, and robust application that can handle real-world demands.

Get ready to get your hands dirty! This is an interactive session, not a lecture. Through a series of live labs, you'll tackle real-world challenges, from securing your services to deploying advanced AI agents. You will leave with practical skills and the confidence to take your own AI projects to the next level.

What You Will Learn:

  • Deploy Secure, Production-Ready Services: Master the essentials of securing your applications on Cloud Run. You will build and deploy a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and learn to implement authentication to ensure that only authorized clients and agents can interact with your service.
  • Build Intelligent Agents: Dive into the Agent Development Kit (ADK) to construct an intelligent agent capable of understanding a goal and using tools to achieve it. You'll connect your agent to the secure MCP server you built, giving it the power to perform real-world tasks.
  • Containerize and Deploy: Take your working agent and prepare it for a consistent, portable deployment. This is a crucial step for managing applications in a serverless environment.
  • Harness the Power of GPUs on Cloud Run: Deploy your containerized agent to a Cloud Run instance and attach a GPU to accelerate your models. You will gain hands-on experience managing production configurations and testing a live, GPU-accelerated application.

    Description:
Join us for the AI DevTalks Live - Learn Build and Innovate, a virtual event series presented in collaboration with Google.

This weekly series brings you leading experts from Google to share the latest insights and practical knowledge on AI, LLMs, and AI Agents.

Each session includes a deep-dive talk, live demo, hands-on code labs, and networking with speakers and a global tech community (developers, engineers, startup founders and tech leaders).

Tech Talk: Mastering Multimodal AI with Google Generative Media: Gemini, Veo, Imagen
    Speaker: Chouaieb Nemri (Google Cloud)
Abstract: This session showcases Google’s generative media models - Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (“Nano-Banana”), Veo, Imagen, etc.. Attendees will learn advanced multimodal techniques in AI Studio: ensuring scene and character consistency, virtual try-on, product recontextualization, image outpainting, perspective control, and combining video, audio, and music for rich creative and marketing workflows.

    Description:
Welcome to the AI virtual seminar series, in collaboration with Docker. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, hands-on experiences on code labs, workshops, and networking with speakers & fellow developers from all over the world.

Tech Talk: Going beyond the chatbot with event-driven agents
Speakers: Michael Irwin (Principal Engineer at Docker)
Abstract: Agentic systems have the ability to use models and tools to perform many different types of tasks. However, many of them are launched by a user opening a browser tab to a chatbot and entering a prompt that then initiates the action. While that's still valid, it is quite limiting. What if we can go farther?
In this talk, we're going to take a real-life scenario in which PRs are opened for training/workshop repos with completed work and create an agent that will analyze the PRs to determine if it can be automatically closed. To automate the process, we'll connect the agent to GitHub webhooks. We'll walk through the steps - from model and tool selection to writing the code to final packaging. You'll be introduced to some of Docker's tooling, including the Docker Model Runner and MCP Gateway. Regardless if you're new or seasoned to AI development, there will be something for everyone!
