What we’re about
Men of all ages who enjoy amateur photography are welcome to participate. I already host a mixed walking group so now am interested to see how the male dynamic works in a photography environment. Based in Malahide. The group will meet up fortnightly. Two coastal locations and two parkland locations. Walk duration about an hour and a half stopping to shoot when ever, where ever. Finish with an optional drink in a local bar to discuss the shoot. Later, optional to edit your selected photographs to post on Flickr. Set up your own Flickr for free.
Happy-go-lucky Men Photographers is different. While we work hard to improve our work, we don't take ourselves too seriously. The ethos is to learn more than compete with each other. Of course the competitive spirit drives learning for many of us too!
There is a place in Happy-go-lucky for the man with the camera and all the paraphenalia. There is also a place for the man who snaps with his phone. In Happy-go-lucky men who can appraise images are equal in importance to those action types who like to Walk & Shoot

It's all about saying what you think is nice in a nice way.Genaral Group Information
