The Atlassian Marketplace is packed with apps—do you know how to get started building and deploying your own? In this Dublin event, Jorge Granda will show you how to deploy your first app using Forge, then Frank Lapa will dive into the DevOps lifecycle, demonstrating how to use Bitbucket Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, as well as Jira Service Management (JSM) and Jira Software (JSW) to manage your app post-deployment.
Whether you’re new to DevOps or an experienced developer, this session will provide hands-on insights and best practices to help you build, deploy, and manage your Atlassian apps more efficiently.
Event Breakdown:
1st Part: Forge App Deployment
Jorge Granda will give a 30-minute session on how to deploy your first Forge app. You’ll get a live demo where he walks through every step of deploying a cloud-based app using Atlassian’s Forge platform. This session is perfect for developers who are new to Forge or looking to get hands-on with Atlassian’s app development framework.
2nd Part: Building Your DevOps Pipeline with Bitbucket and Jira
Frank Lapa will lead a 30-minute session focused on using Bitbucket Pipelines to create an automated DevOps pipeline. He will show how to integrate Jira Service Management (JSM) for IT service management and Jira Software (JSW) for agile project management, demonstrating how to automate and streamline deployment processes with ease. By the end of this demo, you’ll understand how to leverage these tools for faster, more efficient DevOps.
