CQL Tips and Tricks with Patrick McFadin

We will be providing some tasty craft beer to the masses and some (hopefully) above average finger food! For those of you heading over to the summit, this will be a great opportunity to ask any follow on questions you may have. ***

Hi folks. The next meetup will be on Mon 21st of Oct. Patrick McFadin from DataStax will be over to talk about CQL and give us some tips on using it. Patrick was over with us in July but we want to give him more time this time for questions from the audience. He will be covering topics such as when to use indexes, managing schema updates in a live environment and more. Brady Gentile, who is the community manager for DataStax will also be in attendance to talk about the global community and what is going on with that.

We are going with more of a mixer format, so there will be more time to interact with the presenters and others than in previous meetups. This one should be very informative so if you have a burning question, come along and ask it, the harder the better!!

Venue is upstairs in Against the Grain, one of Dublin's finer craft beer establishments. There will be snacks and bevs as normal!
