What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to facilitate volunteering opportunities for people who want to give back to their community in the South Dublin area.
My name is Zakk and I am based around the Killiney/Ballybrack area. I am the sole organiser for this group, so the number of opportunities to volunteer will be 2 - 4 events per month at the start.
The initial activities for this group will mainly be litter cleanup in parks, canals, etc. This is the baseline activity until it grows and expands out into other volunteer avenues.
I will supply a cart, bags/buckets, litter grabbers, and dog (for morale). Note that we will walk in grass/mud on occasion and will be handling litter, so best to wear appropriate footwear and gloves.
