I am setting up this group because I think a lot of Cyber Security / IT-Security / IT-Risk professionals are working in Dublin and should have the change for a completely open and relaxed exchange of ideas (or even just small talk). There are already a lot of online events but IMO it would be nice to have a relaxed "real Meetup" again.
What is this group: The idea of this group is to provide a place for people who work in CyberSecurity or who are simple interested in CyberSecurity. This should give people from all backgrounds the chance to discuss related topics or exchange ideas. Of course, it could and should also be used for Smalltalk or networking. Topics are completely free - my personal interest include also Internet Privacy and Blockchain solutions.
What this group shouldn't be: A vendor event to sell and advertise products. A recruiting event. Of course, you can mention good products and of course you can network...
