One Vs One Debate

Are you passionate about debating or eager to refine your public speaking skills? Join us at the next Dublin Debaters meeting! We've got an exciting evening lined up that’s sure to be both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating.
As always, the evening will begin with Table Topics, where you'll have the chance to speak impromptu on a variety of subjects. It’s a great way to get your creative energy flowing and warm up for the evening ahead.
Next, we'll dive into one-on-one debates, offering you the chance to engage in more structured and thoughtful discussions. We invite everyone to bring their own topics to debate—whether it's a hot current event, a subject you're passionate about, or even a fun hypothetical scenario.
Each topic will then have someone propose it and oppose it, with the participants only having two minutes to put their views across and convince the audience.

Whether you’re a seasoned debater or just curious to give it a try, everyone is welcome. This is a supportive environment to practice, learn, and have fun. So, bring your ideas, your enthusiasm, and your debating spirit!
The attendance fee is €3, payable at the door.
