Ableton recording lesson

Hi all, so I've been thinking about writing original material in the group for a while now as opposed to only doing covers, and to that end recording songs using a DAW such as Ableton or Reaper. The idea would be that group members could collaborate on writing and recording original tunes, with different people recording their parts of a track.

So this meetup will be online via Zoom, and the plan is to go through some basic recording functionality in Ableton and ultimately start recording original songs. I have an Ableton engineer called Robert that will be showing us the basics.

There's a lite version of Ableton available online but it requires a serial number - it's possible to get one with the purchase of hardware like a MIDI controller or audio interface, and some apps like Ableton Note for iOS. There's also a 30 day trial version of the full Ableton available online:

I'll send the Zoom link roughly 30 minutes before the start.
