🟠 Monells Loop ( day 1 of Girona trip)

Today we cycle to the beautiful town of Monells.
We begin at our meeting point at cafe at eastern side of the Pont De Pedra bridge at 9.30am
We then travel east out of Girona climbing the iconic EL Angels climb before descending to the picture perfect village of Monells, where we stop for lunch and refreshments.
After lunch we head back to Girona along a mostly flat route.
Total distance of 51km with 700 metres of climbing, with the majority of the climbing in the cool of the morning.

Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture.
