Please release your inner Victorian lady and come along to an open air painting workshop at the National Gallery. You can buy your ticket here for 45 euro (refunded by the gallery if cancelled for bad weather)

We can go to the cafe in the gallery afterwards for a coffee. I have no particular skill at painting and am going in the spirit of trying something different so any beginners will not be on their own! I'm just guessing at the finishing time including a coffee as the info doesn't mention how long the workshop is.

_The practice of painting “en plein air” (painting outdoors) has become widely associated with the French impressionist painters. This summer we are taking Inspiration from the work of the women impressionists such as Berthe Morisot and Eva Gonzalès and providing four facilitated workshops outdoors during July and August (weather permitting) . Under the expert guidance of artist Dave West, participants will learn the plein air essentials and will have the opportunity to produce their own work!

These workshops are ticketed and must be booked in advance. The sessions will take place on the front lawn of the National Gallery. The painting medium that will used at these workshops will be oils. Materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own if they wish. Participants will be refunded in full if the session cannot proceed due to adverse weather._
