About us
Introducing The Queer Strength Collective!
The new queer gym community created by Jack Fitzgerald
The QSC is a gym community created by and for Queer people and welcomes all LGBTQI+ folks to a safe space to move their bodies, build strength, and grow confidence, without judgement.
Jack’s aim for The QSC is to build a community and space for queer people to train, learn, grow and come together in a fun and enjoyable environment.
Jack has created and held many different events in recent years, such as ‘The Rainbow Rox’ and ‘Mountains of Change’, raising over €40,000 in total for charities like Belong To, Shout Out and One In Four.
Jack has been coaching and training for over 10 years now, so we’re all excited to take part and join The QSC, where he plans to combine his expertise and passions together.
Starting off with his first workshop ‘Safe Sets’ in FFS, Dundrum, Dublin on February 28th.
Designed for the first-timer, anxious gym-goer, or anyone looking to better understand and elevate their training.
Jack will introduce the fundamental movements of strength & conditioning and give participants the knowledge and tools to train safely and confidently. Followed by a 45 minute S&C class to put these movements into practice.
The QSC will run events & workshops from different gyms, all over Ireland, so keep an eye out for the next event near you by following Jack and The Queer Strength Collective on Instagram @thequeerstrengthcollectiveeire and @jackfitzpt
See you there!
