Hike to Lough Ouler and Tonelagee Peak from Dublin

This is a beautiful trail in the Wicklow Mountains National Park that takes you up Tonelagee and along the heart-shaped lake, Lough Ouler

The terrain tends to get quite muddy, particularly after rainfall, adding an extra challenge, so appropriate footwear is required. Come prepared with layers as the peaks are exposed, and winds can be harsh. There are no rest stops or facilities, so bring plenty of water

The approximate hike duration is 3.5 hours. Allowing 2 hours for the return drive to and from Dublin, the total duration will be 6 hours. You will be driven to the hiking start point and back to Dublin. Please bring your own snacks and hot drinks. Weather conditions may be windy, muddy, and drizzling, so please dress appropriately
