Hi all. Time to get this group going again.
Looking for expressions of interest for a one day seascape photography workshop on Waterford's Copper Coast. You will need your own transport.
This will be a trial run of a paid workshop, so the price is discounted to €100 per person for an 8 hour workshop. It will be limited to 5 participants.
Duration: 1 day - approximately 8 hours
Group size: Minimum 3, Maximum 5
Location: Visiting iconic locations on Waterford’s Copper Coast.. Locations will be decided upon subject to weather and tide conditions.
What is included: The day is suited to beginners and intermediate photographers. We will look at how to find a subject and build a composition, lens choice, where to focus, and camera settings. For seascapes we will look at the importance of a tripod and the use of filters to control shutter speed to capture movement in the water for more creative and artistic images.
What is not included: Equipment, transport, food etc.
What will I need to bring: You’ll need a camera such as a DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual controls. If you have a tripod and filters you should bring them with you. You’ll need appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. Hiking boots and wellies.
In order for you to get the to get the best out of your time, you should familiarise yourself with your camera’s controls in advance (How to change ISO, shutter speed and aperture and how to select focusing mode and focus points). These can easily be learned from your camera’s manual or YouTube
The workshop will go ahead if I have 3 paid participants. I'll DM a payment link to everyone that signs up.
