What we’re about

Welcome to Dublin Intellectuals — a gathering place for curious minds who enjoy thoughtful conversation, stimulating ideas, and delicious food.

We meet twice a month, mostly on Fridays and Saturdays, in various restaurants around Dublin. Each meetup is an opportunity to try new and exciting cuisines while engaging in rich, thought-provoking discussions on topics ranging from philosophy and psychology to current affairs, culture, and everything in between.

This group is for people who:

Love great conversation as much as great food
Enjoy exploring new ideas, perspectives, and worldviews
Appreciate meeting open-minded individuals with intellectual curiosity
Want to connect in a relaxed, respectful, and engaging environment

There’s no need to be an academic or an expert—just bring your appetite for ideas (and for dessert, if you like).

A temporary WhatsApp group will be created one week before the event to share final details, updates (including weather plans), and facilitate coordination.
The group will be deleted the day after the event.
If you’re booking a spot, please leave your WhatsApp number so you can be added to the group.

There is a small organizing fee of €3 to help cover the subscription and admin costs.

Two courses and a drink for just €20 🤯💸. That’s cheaper than therapy and almost as satisfying 😂.

Let’s get together, eat like kings 👑, drink like poets 🍷, and pretend we’ll hit the gym tomorrow 🏋️‍♂️😅.

🥩 While we’re cutting into our juicy steaks, let’s slice into a bigger topic: why are our generations getting more obese? 🤔

Look at your grandparents’ photos when they were our age — everyone was slim like marathon runners 👵📸🏃‍♂️.

Now? We’ve got Netflix 🍿, Deliveroo 🍔, energy drinks 🥤, and couches so comfy they should come with a health warning 🛋️⚠️. Add in sitting all day and calling scrolling “exercise” 📱💪… well, here we are.

At least tonight, we can call it research 🍽️😂.
