Kotlin Christmas Katas!

Join us in Toast, as we wind up the year with a Christmas Special! We'll be having some festive fun with Christmas themed katas!

These are some fun challenges to put to use some of the Kotlin you've learned this year, and are a great way to pick up new tips and tricks from the Kotlin library, particularly functional programming techniques!

This is a hands-on session: don't forget to bring your laptop. Please set up Kotlin beforehand, we recommend installing the latest version of Intellij IDEA: https://kotlinlang.org/docs/tutorials/getting-started.html

This is a beginner-friendly event. No previous knowledge of Kotlin is required, however we recommend familiarity with at least another programming language.

6.30pm Work together on the Kata

8.00pm Debrief

8.30pm We'll finish up with a drink in one of our local pubs!
