Intro to Functional Programming in Kotlin with Arrow

Details
Join us for a great evening where Arrow contributor Richard Gibson, all the way from Belfast, will be giving us an introductory talk on Functional Programming in Kotlin with Arrow!
Arrow is a Functional Programming companion library for Kotlin. It uses Kotlin constructs to create accessible ways to write functional programs.
This talk will introduce Functional Programming in Kotlin and where Arrow fits into this using minimal FP theory and lots of examples.
We will look at some of the core data types and patterns provided by Arrow showing how they can be used to solve everyday code problems.
We will also look at Arrow features that can help build concurrent programs in a simple FP style.
-> Schedule
6.00pm Food and drinks
6.30pm Presentation from Richard on Arrow
We'll finish up with a drink in one of our local pubs!
