Free Comedy Show!

We put on a free show every Wednesday upstairs in Nollaig Sona (formerly Against the Grain). Starting at 8pm, aiming to finish at 10:15pm, people can leave when it suits them but we encourage you to arrive before 8 to get the best seats! The room sits a comfortable 65 and people have been turned away in the past when it's a full house and they're arriving too late.

We invite our favourite comedians from all over Ireland to come and use our room as practice. we attract professional comedians who have performed in front of thousands of people, comedians who often have TV accreditations and also once or twice a show we invite fresher faces to the stage, who might only be a couple months into the art form.

We encourage a friendly environment and often have people in the audience on their own, as couples, groups of friends, work bonding events and even the odd family.

This is a great way to get a peak into Irish culture and to see our famous sense of humour in action!
