Dublin Linux Festive meetup

As the regular meetup in the pub, for December, would land on the 24th and would therefore conflict with the Festive season. We will be having a "festive" meetup in the pub instead of the "virtual" meetup.

Novelty hats, jumpers etc are entirely optional. Wear them if they make you happy and you think it's fun. There will be no expectation to if you don't wish to.

This will be very ad-hoc, there may be swag/mech giveaways on the day. The method (quiz, raffle etc) has yet to be decided. If you wish to donate prizes on the day, feel free to let one of the organisers (esp Conor) know what you will be bringing in the weeks and days leading up to the event.

New people who know nothing about Linux are welcome and encouraged to attend, please don't be shy.

If you are new please feel free to approach one of the organisers, and we'd be only happy to help explain things as best as we can, we honestly don't mind and don't judge. We were new once ourselves :)

Please note that in general, these are adult friendly meetups, therefore, we are not responsible for those under 18 in attendance. We may have events targeted at children in the future.

As with any Meetup, please try to stick to your RSVP or change it to No if you can't come.
