Four Dublin Churches Lecture, Oak Room, Mansion House

Details
Come join me in the Oak Room, Mansion House for a lecture on the following four churches. Pro-Cathedral (1825), Saint Francis Xavier, Gardiner Street (1829). Saint Andrew's, Westland Row (1832), Our Lady of Refuge, Rathmines (1850).
The lecture examines the nature and influence of the clerical patrons. To match the architectural ambitions of these patrons, sufficient money had to be provided.
The Speaker is an architectural historian called Dr. Brendan Grimes.
His publications include Irish Carnegie Libraries: A catalogue and architectural history, Dublin 1998. He is currently collaborating with Colm O'Brien on the County Dublin volume of the Buildings of Ireland.
I have a max of seven tickets only, the event is booked out.
This talk will be recorded and made available online at a later date.
Check in is at 5.45pm
We will meet outside the Mansion House at 5.40pm
See you there.
