Details
Let’s join our speaker Conor Doyle for a talk about the glory days of Dublin’s last great Theatre Royal which opened ninety years ago this month. With photos, rare archive newsreel footage, autographs and programmes some of which has not been available before.
The ‘Royal” had many international stars: Judy Garland, Danny Kaye, Bob Hope, Roy Rogers & Trigger.
There are the Irish stars: Noel Purcell, Jimmy O’Dea, Maureen Potter to name a few.
Conor Doyle’s connection with the Royal is strong as his Godfather was Jimmy O’Dea.
We will meet inside the main entrance at 2.50pm.
The Talk starts at 3.15pm.
I look forward to seeing you there.
