A film and talk on the Laurels which was home to the Hegarty family in Cork who used their homestead and thriving market gardening business as a safe house, bomb factory and intelligence hub during the War of Independance and the Civil War.
The Hegarty family rejected the treaty and continued to fight for full Independance.
