Merrion Square – Houses & Statues – Heroes & Villains

This beautiful Georgian Square is closely associated with some famous people – either by their former residence on the Square or by a statue in the Park.
Some you’ll already know – Lord Edward Fitzgerald, Daniel O’Connell and some not so familiar – Erwin Schrodinger & Bernado O’Higgins.
You'll notice they're all men, but we all know who is behind every great man.....

I would like to take you on a short walking tour around the Square and Park – lasting approx 1.5 hours and give you some of the stories about these characters – you will have likely walked this area for years and wondered “who’s yer Man”? – so now is your chance to find out!
Meet me at front of National Gallery – Merrion Sq entrance - Thursday at 11am. I’ll also repeat at other dates during the summer if more interested as I need to cap number at 14.
