The Four Courts is a landmark on the Dublin skyline for over 200 years. It suffered widespread damage as a result of fire and shelling during the Civil War in 1922, and an extensive restoration programme followed. Almost a century later, the Office of Public Works have completed another programme of conservation works, focusing on the dome and it's 24 Corinthian Capitals. This talk will tell this fascinating story.
