Ooooh… scARy monsters: ARKit app in 30 minutes or less.

We haven't met for a while. Since last Xcake Apple announced and released new OSes and new shiny devices. 4 more screen sizes, are you as excited as me?! :)

As previously, Google generously offered to host our meetup. Meetup is limited to 30 xcakers.

Rodhán Hickey will do live stage coding using ARKit. Here what he says:
A live coding demonstration where I will attempt to create a Halloween themed augmented reality iPhone app from scratch using ARKit (and just a tiny bit of preprepared code!) Be afraid - it could all go bad, but with a room full of iOS experts to help out, I’m sure we’ll all make it though alive.

Having recently finished up as CTO of Bizimply, Rodhán is now working as an independent developer and consultant. He has worked at companies large and small, including Microsoft, AOL and SAP. Rodhán built his first augmented reality app in 2009, and since then has worked with most mobile AR technologies, most recently, the amazing ARKit.
