Irish Photo Rally Camping Weekend (West of Ireland)

Saturday: Update, Meeting at Applegreen in Swords (across from Carnegie Court Hotel) at 8.30am, stands up for 9am.
We’ll make our way to Wild Nephin National Park in Co. Mayo and camp in one of the world’s few Gold Tier Dark Sky Parks. We’ll take twisty backroads, picking up points #5, #23 and #20 along the way. We’ll also be picking someone up in Trim at 11am, if that suits anyone else.

Sunday: We’ll ride through some of the best roads in Connemara, collecting points #24 and #14 before following the Wild Atlantic Way down to Doolin, where we’ll camp for the night. (There’s an option for a quick dip at Fanore Beach along the route).

Monday: A couple of us will be heading for a quick dip in Lahinch in the morning (optional, of course), followed by breakfast before we make our way back to Dublin, keeping the route interesting with some twisty backroads.

Anyone who prefers can stay in a B&B or other accommodation and meet up with us each day.

All routes will be shared daily via Google Maps for everyone’s convenience.
