What we’re about
Do you like going to classical, folk or jazz concerts, and you’d like to go with other people who do too? Or you’re just not sure which concerts are going on?
Dublin Music Lovers is making it easy to enjoy music in Dublin regularly.
Please join our WhatsApp group to keep in touch and receive reminders about all our events.
As you may know, Meetup charges organisers for the use of this platform (I've paid €80 for a 6 month subscription). If you've enjoyed the events so far, please consider making a voluntary contribution to support those costs.
Our commitments to you:
💶 Affordability: most concerts will cost no more than €20, and at least 1 in 4 of our events will be free of charge
😊 Friendly interaction: we’ll have a meeting point at the venue where you can meet other attendees before the event, and there will be an optional visit to the pub afterwards.
🎻🎺 Variety: we don’t have a fixed genre of music, but generally, concerts will be classical, folk or jazz music.
What you’ll need to do:
🎟 Book your own ticket: each event will have clear instructions on how to get a ticket, and the costs. Marking yourself as Going on Meetup will not book an event ticket!
⏱ Arrive on time: many concerts won’t admit late arrivals, so you need to be there before the start. This also means we can meet and sit together in the venue.
🥳 Come prepared to have fun!
We welcome your ideas - many great concerts happen in Dublin without people knowing about them, so please share things that you hear about!

See all- Jazz Junkies & Jam Session (paid event)Wild Duck, Dublin
Join Dublin Music Lovers on WhatsApp to stay in touch on the day of the event!
Fine musicians from Dublin's jazz circuit, including this group's very own Carol-Ann, will be performing in the Wild Duck in Temple Bar.
The gig will encompass various styles and subgenres of Jazz that fall under the Jazz umbrella.
The word "Jazz" comes from the 1860s slang word "Jasm" meaning "energy, vitality, spirit." It first appeared in American English in 1912 as a baseball term meaning "lively, energetic". In 1915 it became the label for the genre of music as we know it. JAZZ 🎹🎻🎤🎺🥁🎸🎷🎵
IMPORTANT - TICKETS! 🎟 - This is a paid event. Buy a ticket for €11.70 on Eventbrite or for €10 on the door.
No charge/tickets needed for Musicians/Students who participate in the Jam. Sign up on the door.

- Future Of Irish Music gig: Projective, Keanu The Pilot and Youngiz (paid event)The Grand Social , Dublin
Join Dublin Music Lovers on WhatsApp to stay in touch on the day of the event!
As part of District’s Future Of Irish Music series with Hennessy, listen to Irish artists who are going to be the next generation of homegrown talent. There will be a complimentary drink for the first 100 guests.
Projective
A group that could silence a stadium. Pure milk and honey vocals, with gorgeous elements of soul, R&B and hip-hop it feels luxurious to watch Projective on stage. Hailing from Cork, we might have to admit that they do it best down there.Keanu The Pilot
A multi-disciplinary artist, when Keanu isn’t painting, he’s one of our favourite rappers in Ireland. Put him over any beat, and it still goes hard. Collaborating with many other artists who are contributing to the explosion of Irish rap, Keanu represents the bright future of the genre here.Youngiz
Representative of a world which seems to have captured a young Irish generation. Youngiz was the only Irish feature on Travy’s No.1 album ‘Spooky’ as well as crafting a following and putting numbers on the board from his undeniably raw solo work.IMPORTANT - TICKETS! 🎟 - This is a paid event and tickets are required. Buy a ticket for €9.55 on Eventbrite or for €15 on the door.
