Ireland's national chamber choir welcomes Guest Director Ellie Slorach for a Valentine's bouquet of music on the theme of love.

Love Blooms explores love in all its complexity, featuring Derri Joseph Lewis' personal reflection on coming out in Something Exciting; intimate settings of Pablo Neruda's poetry by Shruthi Rajasekar and of the Song of Songs by Áine Mallon; the fleeting beauty of love and flowers in works by Gerald Finzi and Nathan James Dearden; the turbulence ofAlex Groves’ Stream and Pool for choir and electronics; and Benjamin Britten's Five Flower Songs, composed for the 25th wedding anniversary of botanists Leonard and Dorothy Elmhirst.

🕰 Meeting time: 6:15pm inside the venue. Concert starts at 7:00pm.
