Hey everyone! We're back from our summer break, really looking forward to seeing you all again. Delighted to welcome 2 speakers this month,
Aivaras Prudnikovas and Aidan Boran.

Pizza will be arriving at 7 pm before the talks, get in early! :)

First Speaker:
Aivaras Prudnikovas is a software engineer developing new products for the public sector and also maintaining some of the existing ones.
Writing for front, back and mobile in Javascript and JVM languages.

Talk Title: Running Python scripts in Node

Talk Intro:
With more interest in ML, DL and AI in general, developers flock to get the skills necessary for the next big thing. Learning tools vary but Python looks to remain a popular choice. Despite it all being interesting it is not that straightforward to use the new skills and build something which can be exposed via a simple API.

Second Speaker:
Aidan has 25 years experience in collaborative research & development roles in the Telecomms Industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, has authored 10 patents, over 20 publications and two books. In 2016, Aidan started NextBigThing Labs to prototype advanced solutions to support independent living. He is currently working on the commercialisation of a contactless human gait analysis service for healthcare applications, in collaboration with Dublin City University and Tallaght University Hospital.
