Pool Over Pints

This isn’t just about potting balls — it’s about good vibes, better chats, and a brilliant excuse to meet new people over a game of pool and a cheeky can.

Who’s it for?

Anyone in Dublin (or nearby) who’s up for:
• Casual pool games
• Making new friends
• Swapping beers and stories
• Breaking out of your usual circle

How it works:

1. Arrive Early
   Get to Bray Bowl 5–10 minutes before start time. I’ll be waiting at the entrance — just look for the gate, and whisper the code: “POP ME IN.” That’s your secret handshake into the club.

2. Get In, Get Settled
   We’ll head in together and grab three pool tables, with four people per table. That’s 2 vs 2 matchups to keep things social and flowing. I’ll try to reserve the tables in advance, but if not, we’ll claim them on the spot.

3. Split the Cost
   There’s no event fee — we’ll just split the cost of the tables equally between everyone who shows up. Bring cash or Revolut to keep it smooth.

4. Teams? Totally Random
   We’ll create random teams of two — even if you came with a friend, you’ll be paired with someone new. It’s all about mixing it up and meeting new people.

5. Play Pool, Swap Beers
   Each person brings 2 cans of beer: one for yourself, and one for your opponent. It’s our version of a cheers before the chalk. We’ll play for about 2 hours, rotating through games and partners if needed.

6. Pub Afterparty
   Once we’ve had our fill of pool, we’ll take a short walk to The Martello bar. Grab another drink, keep the chats going, and hang out with your new pool pals.
