Scottish Country Dancing Dublin

Join the Dublin Scottish Country Dance Club! Whether you're an experienced dancer or new to Scottish country dancing, this class is the perfect opportunity to dance, get fit, and have fun.

We dance to LIVE MUSIC most weeks! Kindly provided by our musicians, John (on accordion) and Judy (on fiddle). Where else in Dublin can you dance to live traditional music?!

Our class numbers vary each week, but usually we have between 12-24 attendees. This is a mix of beginners and more experienced dancers. Whether you found us on MeetUp, Facebook or via a Google search, you are most welcome to join us!

First two classes are FREE and after that it's €5 per class.
We change partners for each dance so you can come alone or bring a friend. Don't worry if you've never tried Scottish country dancing before, we always make sure to pair new dancers with more experienced dancers.

Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in and soft shoes with a non-slip sole, such as light runners (or ballet flats if you have them!). Try to avoid wearing heavy or bulky shoes.
