Full Moon Rising between Poolbeg Stacks

Details
Come photograph the first Full Moon of 2024 as it rises between Dublin's iconic Poolbeg power station smokestacks. We will meet on the sidewalk next to Sandymount Beach, Dublin 4, at 4:15PM. Your bus is the S2.
Every month has a full moon, of course (some lucky months have two!), but it's less common to get a full moon that comes up while the sun is setting. Such will be the case on 25 January! The sun will set at 16:54PM, meaning the rising moon will get a rosy glow as it starts up at 16:14. By the time the moon pokes her way through the Poolbeg Stacks around 16:40, the sky should be a lovely colour.
If you have ever photographed a full moon on a dark night, you likely have had considerable trouble balancing the dynamic range of your camera. Either the moon is a featureless disc of overexposed white, or the landscape is a formless blob of underexposed black. That problem is greatly diminished during a sunrise/sunset full moon.
Inclusion matters! If you have a camera, you are welcome to attend. Smartphones, pocket cameras, mirrorless ILCs, or old-school film cameras. If you do have a telephoto lens and/or a tripod, now would be the time to bring it. Please let's not be snobs about our gear; let's come and enjoy a beautiful twilight moon.
I will give a brief primer on focusing and exposure starting around 4:15PM, although this will NOT be a photography lesson or seminar. Please consult your camera's user guide if you have specific questions.
Dublin weather is unpredictable. Please check this event page and a weather report before you head to Sandymount.
