The Power of Javascript

For this session, we’re all about Javascript!!! Delighted to have 2 genuine experts in the area to share some of that Javascript love. Hopefully see you all there. Usual Pizza and beers supplied by ourselves and should be a really fun and informative evening.

Niall Maher will be talking about: "Get started with PWA's. It will cover how to get an offline first application in plain old JavaScript and cache requests for speedy deliveries and also give the option to download as an app on iOS and Android."
Tomasz Waraksa will be talking about: "How do I write a JavaScript application from scratch? The adventure in modern JavaScript and Vanilla JS"

Niall Maher is a straight-shooting software developer with high proficiencies in problem-solving, visual UI design, user-centred design principles and methodologies, product development and full stack software development. He runs workshops on JavaScript and Software Methodologies, writes blog posts and does pretty much everything he can to help share the knowledge he has acquired over the years. Niall has helped develop and deliver software for startups (including Singlepoint, Qstream, and Mingo) and plenty of large companies too (including Bank of America, Vodafone, and Optus) for nearly a decade. When not coding, Niall likes to read, butcher chords on his guitar and visit Star Wars conventions.
