What we’re about

Hello!

We are a group people who will meet up for walks and hikes that can be accessed using buses or trains. Dublin has incredible parks, a coastline, and mountains at our doorstep. It is a fantastic base for getting outside and enjoying nature; however, it's also a pretty challenging place to access nature for those of us who don't own or don't regularly use cars (and there are a lot of us - Ireland has significantly lower rates of car ownership than the EU average). Thankfully, there are also some transit accessible trails that we will enjoy in good company!

This group will always begin at a transit stop. We will then walk or ride transit together to the trailhead and then go on a walk/hike. Our hikes will range from short to long and from flat footpaths to steep, rugged, and muddy trails. And sometimes we will end at a different point from where we started. All of the hikes will have walked by one of us before hand so that someone knows the route.

If you are young or old, LGBTQ+ or straight, new to Ireland or born and raised here, join us for a walk some time.
