Designing What’s Next
AI, agents and the changing shape of experience
Dublin UX is back this September for an exclusively in-person evening of talks, conversation and community, presented in partnership with SiriusXM.
Now in our 11th year, Dublin UX continues to bring together the people shaping products, services and experiences across Ireland and beyond. For this edition, we’ll explore how AI and agentic technologies are changing the way products are designed, how teams work and how experiences connect across an expanding range of surfaces.
Join us for three talks featuring four speakers, followed by an opportunity to continue the conversation with the wider Dublin UX community.
Event schedule
- Doors open at 6pm with a food, drinks and networking reception.
- The talks will begin at 6:45pm sharp and the formal programme will finish by 8:30pm.
- There will be additional networking at SiriusXM until 9pm.
The running order and individual session timings remain subject to change.
Talks and speakers
Agentic workflows
- Salomé Mortazavi, Senior Director of Design Systems and Operations at SiriusXM
- Amie Tornincasa, Vice President of Product at SiriusXM
Salomé and Amie will explore how agentic AI is becoming part of the product development process and changing the way cross-functional teams work. Drawing on their experience at SiriusXM, they will consider how organisations can use these emerging capabilities to move faster while continuing to create thoughtful, differentiated experiences for customers.
About Salomé
Salomé Mortazavi is Senior Director of Design Systems and Operations at SiriusXM, where she enables teams to build the best possible experiences for listeners. She is currently focused on integrating agentic AI into cross-functional workflows, helping teams move faster while continuing to deliver exceptional listener experiences.
Previously, at VMware and Pivotal Labs, Salomé partnered with organisations including Under Armour, Nordstrom, Dell and Boeing to design digital experiences and modernise their approaches to product development.
About Amie
Amie Tornincasa is Vice President of Product at SiriusXM, leading Listener Experience, the team shaping SiriusXM’s front-end experiences across different surfaces.
Her work spans reducing friction from initial discovery through to subscription, building differentiated experiences around live entertainment, sports and fandom, and creating continuity across car, mobile and emerging devices. She is also focused on how AI can become embedded in both the listener experience and the way product teams work.
Before joining SiriusXM, Amie worked at Disney Streaming and Netflix.
Building AI agents for product teams
- Donal Hanafin, Founder of Voxalytics
Donal will explore how AI agents can help product teams turn raw customer conversations, including interviews, sales calls and support tickets, into structured insights that support discovery and decision-making.
Grounded in practical experience, the session will look at real workflows, architecture and lessons learned from building AI-powered tools for product teams. It will also consider how AI can meaningfully support product thinking, rather than simply automating outputs.
Designing experiences across surfaces
- Theo Calvin, Vice President of Experience Design at SiriusXM
As customer journeys expand across streaming, mobile, automotive and emerging platforms, designing a coherent experience is becoming increasingly complex.
Theo will explore the opportunities and challenges involved in creating experiences that move across surfaces while remaining useful, recognisable and connected for customers.
About Theo
Theo Calvin is Vice President of Experience Design at SiriusXM, leading UX and research across the company’s streaming, automotive, commercial and internal tooling experiences.
Before joining SiriusXM, Theo spent decades in creative leadership at leading product innovation agencies, designing for organisations including Instagram, GM, Nokia, Sharp and Sony. He studied and taught generative design techniques in architecture, and his work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
His work sits at the intersection of strategy, technology and emerging design practices, in service of products people genuinely want to use.
Introducing SiriusXM
For this edition of Dublin UX, we are delighted to partner with SiriusXM.
SiriusXM’s teams create listening experiences across streaming, mobile, connected vehicles and other surfaces. This partnership gives the Dublin UX community an opportunity to hear directly from senior design and product leaders about the changing nature of experience design, the introduction of agentic workflows and the challenge of creating connected experiences across platforms.
Our thanks to SiriusXM for hosting and supporting this event.
Tickets and registration
- Tickets are free and strictly limited to one per person.
- A confirmed Meetup RSVP acts as your event ticket. You do not need to pay for a Meetup+ account to register or attend.
- The venue has a maximum capacity of 150 guests. As Dublin UX events typically experience a number of no-shows, we may slightly overallocate RSVPs. We therefore recommend arriving early. Admission cannot be guaranteed once the venue has reached capacity.
- Please do not attend the event unless you have a confirmed RSVP. There will be no plus-ones or guest admission without a separate confirmed ticket.
- A valid email address must be associated with your registration so that building access can be arranged.
- RSVPs will close at 12 noon on Friday, 18 September. Once the building-access list has been submitted, registration details cannot be changed.
- If you can no longer attend, please release your place through Meetup as early as possible so that another Dublin UX member has the opportunity to join us.
