Join us for a Big Vegan Hike + Picnic in Glendalough! Hike in nature, share vegan food, connect & support native tree planting!
We'll be hiking the stunning Spinc and Glenealo Valley trail in Glendalough, a loop trail with epic views, peaceful woodlands, and sparkling lakes.
# Distance ~9.5km (6 miles)
• Difficulty Moderate - expect some uphill climbs and uneven ground, but doable with a basic level of fitness
Afterwards, we'll lie down our blankets for a big vegan picnic surrounded by nature. Bring your favourite vegan food to share, homemade or shop-bought, sweet or savoury, it's all welcome. Think of it as a plant-powered potluck!
It's all about community, connection, and delicious food that's kind to the Earth and all beings who live here.

P Upper Lake Car Park. This car park is conveniently located near the trailhead, making it the most direct and efficient starting point for the hike. It costs €4 for a full day's parking and is equipped with facilities including toilets and food trucks.
Donation: €10, all proceeds will go towards planting native Irish trees through Reforest Nation
≥ Getting There:
Glendalough is accessible by public transport with several buses running from Dublin and surrounding areas on Saturdays. Check local schedules closer to the date to plan your trip.
