The Photography Academy of Ireland is holding its 2016 open day on Saturday the 30th of January at 2pm at the Academy buildings at 54 Merrion Square South. By weird coincidence our buildings yellow door is this groups photo icon so we though it only right to open it to you should you have the time to join us. There will be a studio lighting, portraiture and Adobe lightroom workshop as well as a chance to get photo related tips and advise beginning at 2pm. The day is free and we'd love to see you there. • Get advice about developing your hobby or pursuing a career in Photography
The Academy provide practical in-depth Cert, Diploma & Post Graduate courses as both classroom based & supervised distance learning options. Our courses are designed to enable both aspiring hobbyist or those wishing to establish a career as a photographer to build a strong portfolio and become professionally confident with Creative Camera Functions, Professional Studio Lighting & Image Composition as well as File management & Post Production through Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop.
