As the weather begins to cool we plan to follow other groups that have raved about this place and try Uyghur food a distinct fusion of middle eastern Muslim and Chinese cuisine from the Xinjiang region of China, known for its fusion of Eastern and Western culinary influences from the ancient Silk Road. A typical dish served is Laghman described here :Laghman (food) - Wikipedia, also served are rice with meat dishes, dumplings, meat skewers and salads. Trip advisor reviews and photos speak for themselves : AFANTI UYGHUR RESTAURANT, Dublin - Restaurant Reviews, Phone Number & Photos - Tripadvisor

Main dishes are approximately €18 each and starters range from €4-10. There is a limited wine and beer menu, a glass of wine/ pint is €7

NB there is no guarantee we can each pay separately at the cash register so please prepare to add up your own items from a group bill and tap our cards individually (cash is accepted too however please bring small denomination and round up slightly to assist wait staff prepare your change)

As often happens, plans can change unexpectedly. If that happens to you, please update your RSVP by the Wednesday before the lunch. This allows others on the waitlist enough time to adjust their plans and attend, and gives the restaurant time to adjust numbers or offer the table to other customers.
This venue is one of the few that doesn't require a deposit or a credit card hold, so it's important we respect their flexibility.
Please note: If you don’t update your RSVP and don't attend, you may find yourself at the end of the waitlist for the next three events—yes, even our most loved and respected members have unfortunately ended up on the group naughty step of shame.
