Organised by Dublin based Bitcoin Marketing Team and Parker Stewart, Dublin Crypto Events provides a range of industry-run crypto meetups.
Our public events, running every second month in Dublin 8, are a mix of talks on the marketing and jobs side of the crypto industry, with occasional invited speakers. There will also be the opportunity with local companies with a live or prototype platform to showcase their project.
It will then be followed by some networking, food and drinks!
We have limited numbers in the venue we're using, so in the event of things being oversubscribed, we may ask people to sign a bitcoin message to confirm their tickets which are limited to a max of two per person.
The talks are aimed at those looking to, or working within the industry with an intermediate to higher level knowledge of crypto. If you're new to crypto, or your only exposure to it is a bit of buying and selling, this might not be the event for you as we're not discussing anything relating to token sales, nfts or investment.

Our inaugural public event will let you get the chance to hear about what it’s like to work in the crypto industry…
Jamie from Bitcoin Marketing Team will give a short talk about Marketing Crypto Projects, while Ciaran from Parker Stewart will give a short talk about How to start your career in crypto.
We also have two guest speakers from Wachsman PR, one of the world's leading Crypto PR Agencies with offices in Dublin. Eoin and Caolán will have a talk on how "traditional" PR aligns with the blockchain space, the importance of brand building for startups, as well as some words on how PR can be a path into a crypto career.
In addition to this, there will be the opportunity for a 5 minute soap-box style project introduction from a couple of local companies in the sector.
We’re aiming to keep the talks to about an hour, giving plenty of networking time so people can talk crypto and ask questions.
You will also have the chance to have some hands on time with an Antminer so you can see the circuitry that powers the blockchain.
Please note: Tickets are limited to 40-50 people due to the venue size, with 1-2 tickets available person, and you may be required to sign a bitcoin message to show that you’ve got a meaningful understanding of how crypto works in the event of it being oversubscribed. We will be operating a waitlist if the event is oversubscribed.
