NOTE: This meetup is on a Thursday, not the first Tuesday like we usually do.

if (collaboration) - Darío Cravero, HMH, @dariocravero (https://www.twitter.com/dariocravero)
How we’re breaking silos and overcoming the challenges of collaboration between designers and developers at HMH using React.

Go Mobile w/ Angular 2 and Ionic 2 - Alex Muramoto, Ionic, @alexmuramoto (https://www.twitter.com/alexmuramoto)
We’re delighted to have Alex, a Developer Advocate at Ionic, passing through Dublin and giving us a talk.
Hybrid mobile app development has come a long way in recent years, to the point that many, if not most, types of apps can be built with standard web technologies. The Ionic Framework is one of the most popular hybrid frameworks. It’s built on AngularJS, performs like native, integrates native device APIs, and provides a large set of natively-styled UI components out of the box.In this session, we’ll look at Ionic 2 for creating awesome, component-based apps. Topics covered will include getting started with Ionic 2, integrating native-styled UI components into an app, accessing native APIs with Ionic Native, and deploying to a device for testing.

Thanks to our sponsors, HMH (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), http://www.hmhco.com/ (http://www.hmhco.com/,) who will be providing pizza and beer on the night. Here’s a bit about them:

Due to the high churn rate and unused RSVPs at the last few meet ups we are only going to open RSVPs one week before the meet up (Thursday Oct 27th 4pm). Hopefully this means we will see more people attend. If you can't make it please release your RSVP so others can use it.

Entry into the Intercom office is only possible from 6.30pm onwards.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
