Chromiumify, developing Chrome Extensions and TDD using Jasmine

Details
We've three great talks lined up for you this September. Topics covered will include Chromiumify, building Chrome Extensions and testing using Jasmine. Thanks to our sponsor, Pivotal Labs, http://pivotaldublin.com , for providing pizza and beer for the meetup.
Building and Packaging a Chrome Extension - Panpan Lin @CatKlavier (https://twitter.com/CatKlavier)
This talk will cover how to build and package a Chrome extension from scratch.
Chromiumify - Anton Whalley @dhigit9 (https://www.twitter.com/dhigit9)
Chromiumify is a tool used to simplify building offline First/mesh networked applications. It's also an implementation of the node API that enables Desktop & Mobile apps to be written in JavaScript from a single codebase. The talk will give some background on the problem space this technology is targeting as well as providing a survey of similar projects in the area.
TDD with Jasmine and Angular - Tyson Gern, Pivotal Labs @tygern (https://twitter.com/tygern)
Test Driven Development is a coding practice where developers write an automated test to drive out each line of code. It promotes a well-designed, flexible codebase with few defects. We'll investigate how to use a testing framework called Jasmine (jasmine.github.io) to test drive Javascript code, with specific examples for AngularJS.
Thanks to this month's meetup sponsor, Pivotal Labs for providing pizza and beer on the night. Pivotal offers a modern approach to building software including a platform as a service called Cloud Foundry and an agile software development shop called Pivotal Labs. We follow core practices of XP like Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration to deliver high quality software to clients like Groupon, Gnip, and Humana.
