We have two great talks lined up for this meetup! We will be holding it in the MongoDB offices in Latin Hall, Golden Lane (https://www.google.ie/maps/place/MongoDB,+Inc.+EMEA+Headquarters/@53.340891,-6.27016,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x48670c275d061203:0xca5aa17ef745acbc).
Our first talk will be by Sheila Kinsella (https://twitter.com/sheilak), Senior Software Engineer with Datahug. Sheila will talk about Datahug's experience with scaling their email processing pipeline with MongoDB and Hadoop. The talk will cover initial analysis, experiences with the MongoDB Connector for Hadoop, challenges and rollout strategies.
The second talk will be by Marco Bonezzi (https://twitter.com/marcobonezzi), Technical Services Engineer with MongoDB. Marco will cover the changes to the Replication Protocol in MongoDB 3.2 and the similarities/differences with RAFT.
