  1. "Why should you care about DuckDB!?" by Mihai Bojin: will present a brief evolution of the big data landscape in the past decade and explore a few of the reasons behind DuckDB's recent surge in popularity.
  2. "Exploring Monte Carlo Simulations in DuckDB" by James McNeill: will discuss the importance of efficiency in Monte Carlo simulations, and how DuckDB compares with other tools in the Python ecosystem.
  3. "DuckDB & Recommenders: A Lightning-Fast Synergy" by Khalil Muhammad: will explore common challenges in training recommenders, such as collaboration, scalability and speed, and show how DuckDB addresses them. The speaker will also share real-world lessons learned from using DuckDB.
