Knit In Public Day

As part of the International Knit In Public Day the DuCKS have decided to do something after the 9-1 meetup. To officially celebrate Knit In Public Day we are meeting at the Hideaway Brew Gardens in Hoffman Estates. The venue is like concert in the park meets food/drink concessions meets campy glamping with mini themed trailers that turns into fairy camping under the stars when it dark. We will take one of the picnic tables with an umbrella. Please bring a chair if you prefer to sit in a chair as a reminder if you need lumbar support. We will be sitting, listening to music, snacking and crafting so bring whatever it is you’re working on and come and sit with us. This will be my happy place 💜

Please note June 13th is also the Live Like Roo Event at this venue where the proceeds go to the Live Like Roo Foundation assisting animals with cancer. Also they will be hosting the Pet Fest and Pirates For Paws so they will be having pet related vendors and items for sale, adoptable pets, and Live music as I’ve listed below. Families and pets are welcome.

No entrance fee. No parking fees.

We will meet there at 2:00 pm.

The park will be open the entirety but the Pet Fest Vendors are there from: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
