## ๐Ÿ‚ A Perfect End-of-Summer Gathering

After a season full of Pride celebrations, travel, and busy summer schedules, this is a chance to slow down a bit and reconnect.

Join your DTs family for a relaxed afternoon outdoors โ€” good food, easy conversation, and time to enjoy each otherโ€™s company without the rush.

This is one of our favorite traditions of the year: a space to gather, unwind, and share a simple, joyful day together.

Whether youโ€™ve been part of DTs for years or youโ€™re thinking about joining us for the first time, this is an easy, welcoming way to show up and feel at home.

All are welcome โ€” including families, friends, and anyone looking for a space thatโ€™s inclusive, friendly, and genuinely low-pressure.

Children are welcome โ€” including the furry kind. ๐Ÿพ The park allows pets, so feel free to bring your well-behaved companions along.

## ๐Ÿ” Whatโ€™s on the Menu?

The Club will provide:

  • Hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausages
  • Veggie burgers and other no-meat options
  • Chips and a starter set of side dishes
  • Buns, condiments, and soft drinks

## ๐Ÿฅ— Potluck & Volunteers

Weโ€™d love your help to make the day even better!
Bring a side dish, appetizer, dessert, or other favorite to share โ€” but bring a little, not a lot. We usually have plenty of food, so about 6โ€“8 servings is perfect. With everyone contributing a little, weโ€™ll have plenty of variety without ending the afternoon with mountains of leftovers.

You can also sign up to help with setup, grilling, restocking, games, or cleanup.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Sign up here

No pressure โ€” participate as much or as little as youโ€™d like.

## ๐Ÿ’ต Cost

  • $5 for members ๐ŸŽ‰
  • $15 for non-members and guests

๐Ÿ‘‰ Get tickets here
A small ticket helps us plan food and ensure a great experience for everyone.

## ๐Ÿ’œ A Note on Community

This is a space where people can show up as they are.
We especially want this to be a welcoming, comfortable environment for:

  • women
  • trans and non-binary folks
  • families
  • new members

If youโ€™re looking for a relaxed way to connect โ€” without pressure or expectations โ€” this is it.

## โ™ฟ Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is located near the main office building (#1 on the map).
From there:

  • Follow the paved path toward the picnic shelters
  • The path is gently sloped and accessible
  • A ramp leads up to the shelter level (#2) โ€” no stairs required
  • Shelter H is just beyond this point (#4)
