📍 Directions to Shelter H
(Numbers refer to points on the map in photos)

The best way to find Shelter H is to map to Shelter J and look for H - Lake Fairfax Park Shelter J

• As you come into the Park, past the big "Lake Fairfax Park" sign, you'll see a big speed hump painted in white stripes. (See photo)
• o over the bump and start watching for the Water Mine on the right, which is a water park near the picnic shelters. (5)
• You can't miss it, there are huge water slides and large, brightly colored umbrellas, on the right-hand side as you enter the Park.
• Just beyond the water park is the main office, and parking is just beyond the office on the right (1).
• When you enter the parking lot, head toward the office (big brick wall, very wide staircase) to the right as you face the lake.
• You can walk up the steps or the ramp to get up to the picnic shelter level (2).
• Curve around to the right, past the building with the bathrooms (3).
• The picnic shelters will be on your left (4).

## 🚗 Drop-Off Instructions

If you need to drop something off at Shelter J, such as food, coolers, etc., you can drive directly up to the Shelter.

• Just to the left of the Water Mine (5) (you'll see a square white sign that reads, "Water Mine"), you'll see an area of what looks like sidewalk that slopes down to the road.
• You can drive up on to the pavement there - don't drive over the curb! (6)
• Follow the pavement back and to the left. You'll start seeing the picnic shelters pretty quickly.
• Proceed to Shelter J. Look for the rainbow flags! (4)
• Drop off what you need to, and then follow the pavement around and back to the Water Mine, then go park your car. (1)
