About us
Hey, welcome to the Dundalk Cybersecurity Meetup!
Dundalk's got a growing tech scene but no real space yet for people into
cybersecurity to connect, share what they know, and learn from each
other — so that's what this is about. Whether you're a student,
career-switcher, or already working in the field, come along.
Plan is to meet up every so often for casual talks, maybe some hands-on
stuff (CTFs, workshops), and honestly just to chat over a coffee/pint
about what's going on in security — new threats, career stuff, tools
we're using, whatever.
We'll also cover stuff like certifications (OSCP, CEH, Security+,
whatever path you're on), industry events and conferences worth
checking out, and practicing on platforms like Hack The Box or
TryHackMe if that's your thing.
Don't need any specific background to join, just curiosity. Check the
Events tab for what's coming up.
