You're invited to the opening of Tūhura's latest exhibition - ARCA ARCADE: ROUND ONE - in partnership with CODE and Dunedin Game Developers.
Remember Space Invaders at the local fish and chip shop? Arca Arcade: Round One brings that nostalgia roaring back, this time as playable art.
Created by Preston McNeil, these sleek, wall-mounted machines feature artwork by top Kiwi artists Gina Kiel, Flox, Otis Frizzell, Joe Sheehan, and Otis Chamberlain and blending te ao Mãori with classic game culture.
5:30PM - Arca Arcade: Round One Exhibition Opening (invite only)
6:30PM - Artists Talk and Q&A (open to public)
Drinks and nibbles provided.
