## About Dunedin Toastmasters

Dunedin Toastmasters is a welcoming, diverse group of lifelong learners who come together to grow confidence, communication skills, and meaningful connections.
Our members range in age from their 20s to their 80s, and we all share a commitment to self-improvement, curiosity, and supporting one another. Whether you want to feel more confident speaking up at work, tell better stories, lead with clarity, or simply challenge yourself in a friendly environment, you’ll fit right in.

### What we Do

Practice public speaking in a supportive, low-pressure setting
Receive constructive, encouraging feedback
Build leadership and communication skills that translate to real life
Learn by doing — no experience required

### More than Meetings

We believe growth happens through connection. In addition to our weekly meetings, we host a monthly social activity to strengthen relationships, and many members head out after meetings for “Post-Toasties” - casual socializing at a local restaurant or bar.

### Attend in Person or Online

We’re a hybrid club, welcoming both in-person and online participants. If you’re unable to attend physically, you can message the Meetup organizer to receive a Zoom link and join us virtually. Many members alternate between attending in person and online, depending on their schedules.
