Dunedin Toastmasters Workshop @ Dunedin Public Library

Details
This workshop is presented by the Dunedin Toastmasters club. We're a diverse group of lifelong learners, ranging in age from our 20s to our 80s. We meet each week to improve our communication, speaking, and leadership skills, and most importantly, we have fun together!
We believe that all of our lives are interesting, and everyone has a story to tell, most likely many stories.
Personal stories are great, but storytelling is also crucial to business and professional success. This is a skill that will stay with you for a lifetime!
In this fun and interactive workshop we'll teach you how to quickly write, develop, and deliver a short speech.
You will learn how to:
• Figure out what makes a great story
• Identify important stories from your life
• Pinpoint the transformation you went through
• Quickly outline your speech
• Engage and inspire your audience!
Bring pen and paper, and invite your friends to join you. This is a great workshop for writers too!
Workshop will start promptly at 6:30 pm, please arrive early for socializing and networking.
