Do you have a speaking moment coming up this spring or summer?
Maybe you’ve been asked to:
• give a father-of-the-bride, best man, or bridesmaid speech
• raise a toast at a celebration
introduce a speaker at an event
honor someone at a memorial
speak up confidently in a meeting
These short speeches can feel surprisingly stressful, especially if you want to get the words just right.

Join us for a free interactive workshop at the Dunedin Public Library where you’ll learn practical tips to handle these real-life speaking moments with confidence.

Hosted by Dunedin Toastmasters, this workshop will cover:
✔ How to organize a short speech so it’s clear and memorable
✔ Tips for keeping it heartfelt without rambling
✔ Simple techniques to calm nerves and speak confidently
✔ What makes a toast, introduction, or tribute truly meaningful

### Arrive Early for a Networking Social

We’ll begin with a 30-minute networking social at 6:00 PM before the workshop. Come meet friendly members and guests while enjoying sweet and savory treats and cold drinks.

### Curious About Toastmasters?

This event is also a great opportunity to learn what a Toastmasters club is really about. You’ll meet members of our club and see firsthand how supportive, interesting, and genuinely fun our meetings are. Many people are surprised by how engaging and welcoming the environment is.

No experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Guests are very welcome!
